For all of these, you should start off with a base of regular Bisquick pancakes.
Banana Orange - Before making the batter mush up one very ripe banana in the bowl. Then after the batter is added, add in 1 1/2 tsp of orange extract.
Chocolate Chip - You could make this with whatever your favorite chocolate is, but chopped up semi sweet or dark chocolate works the best (and chopped up is better than full chips, you can more bang for your buck in each bite). If you want a sweeter pancake, add 1 tsp of vanilla too.
Coconut - Add 1 1/2 tsp of coconut extract, 1/3 of a cup coconut flakes, and 1 tbsp sugar to the batter. Top with whipped or vanilla ice cream and garnish with more coconut.
Lemon Blueberry - Add blue berries and 1 tsp of lemon extract.
Strawberry White chocolate - If you can, dice some strawberries at least 1 hour before (the night before is fine too) for garnish. Then dice up some strawberries for the batter and add in white chocolate chips/chunks. When pancakes are done, garnish with the strawberry/sugar mixture you already made.
Some great toppings:
Stonewall Kitchen Makes - Amazing syrups in many flavors. Blueberry, butter pecan, apple cinnamon, raspberry, blood orange, apple butter, and strawberry. Seems like they keep coming out with more!
Whipped Cream - Heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla on high until light and fluffy. Add just a touch of cinnamon or another extract for some extra kick.
Fruit - If you don't want your fruit inside, on the outside some good options are strawberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, pears, and bananas.
Ice Cream - Probably best to leave any fancy additions out (except for cookies and cream), just plain creamy goodness here. Flavors like cinnamon, strawberry, peach, coconut, malt, pumpkin, blueberry and of course vanilla work the best.
